I am student and want to apply for a checking card. Is there any bank offer free transaction offer ?

Lot of banks offer student package. You can get banking fee waived.

PC financial offers no fee bank/chequing account
BMO offers student up to 26 yrs old free plan (checking account as master account a must)

RBC/CIBC/TD/Scotia offers discounted student fee plan, or regular/discounted waivers.

But to apply for PC bank account, you need to have several years of banking history with five major banks first..
