Car Experts: Is this a problem or Normal

Hi,
I looked at a 2003 Honda Civic car yesterday, and found that the two radiator's fans were on and off every few minutes a little while (5~10 minutes)after the car started. Is this a problem or somehow some setup was not right causes the fans on/off automatically? Car expert, please shed some light on this. Thanks,

This is normal. The fan will turn on automatically when the engine tempreture goes up to a certain degree. After the engine cools down, it will shut down automatically.
