好像国内管AT就叫无级变速的:blink:

CVT means Continuous Variable Transmission. The concept is like shifting gear as a motor bike. The idea is that u can shift the gear by a lot smaller sequential chain than AT gear. The advantage is to increase acceleration and decrease fuel consumption. Plus, there is no lag when accelerating to a certain speed. The new A4 FWD CVT and Nissan Murrano SUV are using the same technology.

AT means Automatic Transmission. Same old stuff.

但开起车来，CVT和AT没有驾驶动作上的区别吧？

Yes, the secret is behind the gear box. U won't feel any different.

但是坐车的能感觉出来很大的区别
不会再有换档时候的那一下颤动了
可惜现在CVT还没办法跟AWD结合起来
所以在AUDI那里，要CVT就不能要QUATTRO

Well, Audi can put a CVT if they want to. It's just a matter of "Marketing Strategy".
If they put a CVT in, nobody wants a AT anymore.

原来无级AT就叫CVT。好象CVT主要用在小型车上:blink:
