Ottawa 那里可以买到 In-car portable GPS navigator,或者 PDA integrated 的也好
比如:
Navman iCQ 360
Garmin StreetPilot
Magellan Roadmate
PDA 的 Garmin iQue 3600 很不错, 可惜是 PalmOS的

别忘了, 你还要等几个月的 $20 快钱 rebate, 美国的其他 deal 还没有给你找呢?

Well, you are right about Electronics and most Asian import. Those prices are cheaper in US because:
1. They are priced in US dollar internationally, and most Canadian retailer was still using the price scheme where 1 US$ = 1.6 C$. The gap will gradually narrow as people adjust to the new reality that 1 US $ is only worth 1.2 ~ 1.3 C$.
2. US has a larger market and economics of scale plays here.
So much for Electronics and we agree US is cheaper. Now another category, health care.
When I was in Ottawa, I used to have a deep cleaning (scale) every 3 months. It costs $130 and is covered in full by Nortel and I didn't pay a cent. And the same procedure in US ? Total $760, and I have to pay $280 out of my own packet. And the insurance only cover the rest once every six months.
So I decided to cut my deep cleaning to once every half year, my health sure suffered because of that. High health care is certainly the reason why Americans live 2.6 years shorter than Canadians.
Bottomline, if you can remain young and healthy forever, you should stay in US forever.
