[请求] Help me please!

To All DX:
I went to Canadian Tire nearby to ask for a safety standard certificate (SSC) for my used car (about 10 years old Toyota Camry). They said the car needs to be repaired with about 1000 dollars to replace Control Arm Bushings and Ball Joint. Then they can issue me a SSC. I doubt their suggestions for the repairing because I got a SSC from this auto shop three months ago. They did not mention this problem at all, though other parts of the car were repaired that time.
Please advise me (1)if there is some problems with the bushings and ball joint, is this a big problem to safety? (2) How to confirm this problem?

我也不是特别清楚,反正如果车安检有问题,是一定要修的,否则...
所以买旧私人车一定让车主做安检,否则不知会花多少钱.

Thank you all!
If the worn bushings and ball joints are not critical to safety, my life will be easier. I am afraid that I can not do the check my self. I will try other garages soon.

Don't ever try any Canadian Tire garage to have your car checked/fixed!!
