I fought with the picketers this morning

The bus drops me off at the terminal, which they block the entrances ane make people walk 10 minutes to another entrance, which coincidentally, is also blocked, so I don't know what's the point.

Anyway I didn't feel like walking all the way there again this morning, so I was determined to go in my old way, and blah blah...

Uh oh, you should not have done that. In no circustances should you be in direct conflict with a picketer, they are in legal strike, in other words, it's their right. Didn't you get multiple emails concerning what to be done in such situation?

Normally they let people in every 10 to 15 minutes, so get in the line. If you feel that your are in danger, contact your supervisor from a safe location and your supervisor should advise you on what to do next. After you get in the building you normally would report to a temp desk to write down your time of entry. At the end of the day, go back to the same desk and record your time of leaving so that you can get paid.
