Hi, could anyone recommend lawyer for buying the house? how much is the cost?

700-900 are lawyer's legal fee only
plus title search, blah blah :blink:

What is the title search fee? And also where you get lawyer fee for $500. Any one can recommand a good lawyer?

if u need a lawyer, ask ADGG, he'll recommend one for you, and go talk that lawyer, the lawyer will explain all expenses to you.

title search is your lawyer to make sure the seller own that houese,
and the house did not been di3 ya1, something like that.

I use a chinese lawyer, zhang yu rong. not sure good no good,
because my house did not close yet.

不同的部分，新房要叫一个Ontario New Home Warranty Enrollment Fee的，大概五六百。
旧房要交land transfer tax，大概2000多。

所以closing day，你要给律师，新房大概2000，旧房大概3500左右吧
