a Lawyer or Notary Public can do it for you

Few days ago, I was preparing for my mother's visit. I had the same question. I contacted Canadian Embassy China, it replies: "Please be advised that a Lawyer or Notary Public may notarise documents for our purpose. Or you may submit an original document."
