[问题] Roof Repair - Re-shingle small patch

I noticed a leak in the interior walls of my garage, right under a gutter down pipe. It's possible that the shingles covering garage roof are damaged, but only a small area.

I'm wondering if such repair can be easily done DIY or a professional roofer is needed? Has anyone done this type of work before?

你的 roof 应该有 Warranty, 让他们来给你修。

Warranty 怎么也有15，20年的，你的 roof 最好换新的了，
不过这么就的 roof 也就好修了，
有多大?
我家刚换的 roof, 还有几片，黑的。
或去买 roof sealer, 象很绸的液体，有沥青什么的，
往房顶上一倒就行了，很管用，不好看，因为颜色不同。

My friend, a very handy man, installed satellite dish himself, he made it. The side effect is, he also made a hole on the roof

The shingles are 15 years, but builder only warrants for 2 years. I'm not sure how big the damage is, but I suspect it's only a small patch that needs to be either fixed or replaced. It's the area that's directly under the downpipe, and it accumulates a lot of snow in winter.
