急问,TN签证的配偶拿旅游签证不让过关的问题,多谢

本人是加拿大移民,以为陪偶的TD签证是在边境现签,因为公民是这样.同时我还有旅游签证,结果到海关说让我回加拿大去签TD签证,不能用旅游的.我现在填DS-156表,上面有一项写:
Have you ever been refused admission to the U.S., or .....
.,都是很不好的内容,我是填YES还是NO,不知道我这种情况电脑里记录吗?希望有这方面经验的朋友多指教.如果填YES有什么影响吗?
TN签证的配偶如果还不是公民,如何能过境,如果我这次签被拒,还有什么别的办法吗?多谢!

I got the samilar experience years ago when my husband was working with TN visa in US. I was invited to sit infront of a small desk to interview with a Lady, who told me politly that her husband had to use a TN-like visa to visit her here from the US, although he is not tending to stay.
So that, she would give me a visiting Visa later should my husband's status changed...but, TD is the only Visa I could get under that situation. It is frustrating ...

I know what you mean.

First of all, don't lie. Tell them you've been refused once, and give the detailed explaination. It would not affect your application. I had similar experience, but I was not rejected at the first time when I was holding the visitor visa, I think it was because I told them I was only staying there for 10 days. But they told me, I'd better get a TD visa. Then I applied the TD visa.

It doesn't matter for the spouse if she/he is Canadian citizen. The best way is using TD visa if you plan staying there a while.

She means TD.
