Positions Summary:
Java/J2EE developer to work on the development of interface components for the integration of our software into third party enterprise software systems.
To assist in the development of Java and possibly some C++ components. The Java environment is J2EE and CORBA is used to access the C++ components.
To estimate your own development effort required by breaking a feature description into tasks and estimating each task.
Develop functional specifications for the code component under development.
Develop high quality, efficient and functional code to implement the requirement.
Provide test collateral to prove the feature works as required.
Help the Software Verification team test the software and implement a test suite for it.
Interface with other teams building software components for an understanding of how to utilize those components in the third party environment.
Some travel is required.
Knowledge & Skills:
3-7 years of Java development
C++ experience.
Server development experience.
J2EE development including JMS, CORBA, EJBs.
Proven track record of on-time delivery of software development assignments.
SAP NetWeaver development
Digital signatures, encryption and secure software development.
Unix development
