Does anyone experience the New Housing Rebate which is excluded from purchase price and later on rebate to the builder. Is that only for first-home buyer?

Is it the equivalent of land transfer tax only free for first-time buyer.

The GST rebate is available to any purchaser of a new home. The purchaser does not have to be a first-time buyer.

Builder will ask you to complete the rebate form, and the actual rebate will go directly to the builder. Price of your new home usually includes this rebate already.
