回国照顾亲人怎样申请EI？

请问如果因照顾亲人不得不辞职回国，如何申请EI？这种EI是否有什么不同？该出什么证明？可以领多长时间？多谢！

如果是你本人方面提出的辞职,是不能拿EI的.无论理由是什么.

辞职是可以地，回国ＥＩ是没有地
即使领ＥＩ期间回国也要停止，回来才能继续领

回国照顾亲人，在这照顾亲人都不能拿 EI 的。好像拿 EI 的唯一条件就是你在 Actively 找工作。

As of January 4, 2004, compassionate care benefits may be paid up to a maximum of 6 weeks to a person who has to be absent from work to provide care or support to a gravely ill family member at risk of dying within 26 weeks. Unemployed persons on EI can also ask for this type of benefits.

quit也有可能拿EI的, 比如是因为你因为某种原因必须relocate而不得不辞职, 这种情况是可以拿的

Now, they don't pay EI even for going to the US.

I've never been able to collect EI in Canada.

因为特殊原因辞职，是可以拿到EI的
不过离开加拿大好象就没有了

还有，fire是没有EI拿的，拿EI的是lay off
