If your visa is multiple entries one, you don't; otherwise you do.

That's right. You are having a multiple entry visa. You need to hand in your I-94 before you boarding in an internation airport. Make sure you got a I-94 with a correct expiring date when you come back. That's all you need to worry about.

I just find on my H1B visa stump there's "Entries" item marked "M".
So I assume which is the multiple entries H1B as you indicated.
