VW's fifth generation Jetta

Engine Types:
Entry Level: 2.5l inline-5 cylinder with 150hp and 168 lb-ft.
Diesel(TDI): 1.9l TDI with 100hp
GLI: 2.0l 4-cylinder TURBO with 200hp.
VR6: N/A yet.

Big improvement to Transmission Type:
Entry Level: 5 speed manual or 6 speed tiptronic automatic
TDI:5 speed manual or 6 speed Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG)
GLI:6 speed manual or 6 speed Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG)

I guess it's like the new transmission on BMW M5. Manufactured like a manual gear box, but functions without a clutch.

Size:
Overall length: 179.3 inches, grows 7.1 inches,3.4 inches longer than the new Volvo S40 .
width: 69.3 inches, grows 1 inche, same to Acura TSX.
wheelbase: 101.5 inches, grows 2.6 inches.

Big improvements at every aspect.
Looks promising....

But I still love the look of the outgoing Jetta so much.
