都糊窗户风缝儿了吗?

I still have some condensation on the window after taping the plastic film on the windows.

Is this normal or have I done something wrong?

我家本来也是准备敷窗户.上homedepot一问,才知道那是对旧房子的.新房子不用.看来你们家是新房子.将窗户开一小缝应该有效.

关于水汽，跟缝没关，应该跟温差有关，这只能说明：1)内外温差大，2)双层玻璃的隔热性差，3)家里湿度太高。

Tearing away the film?! You know how much time we spent on taping that damxxed thing! And we even changed the double-sided tape to an ugly one-sided tape, still a lot of work.

BDB, how do you know that we left ice and condensation on the glass before the film was put on?

By adding the plastic film, it generate an air gap to act as insulation so that the big difference on both side of the window glass is slowed down to 2 steps. The condensation problem should be solved.
If the plastic film is not taped air-tight, it won't function well for sure, since there still direct air, with moisture and heat, exchange in and out the film.
Or, if there were ice or condensation left on the glass before the film was put on, it could be sealed in there for the whole winter

So, tear the film, clean the window, blow dry with your hair dryer if necessary, and tape the film as tight as possible
BTW, as I said, humidity in your house is too high ...:smokin:

Rooms located at certain areas of a house may be colder. For example, if this room is on top of your garage, then it can be colder. Another example may be that this room is farther away from the furnice.

You can try to seal your windows with removable calk, called draft stop or something like that, which is available at the Home Depo. You can put it on for the winter and peel it off in summer. If the room is still cold after this, you may need to call professionals to adjust your hot air ducts so more heat is sent to that room.

It's most likely normal. It really depends on how much condensation there is. If your windows are all fogged up, then you may have a condensation problem. If condensation only occurs at the bottom areas of your windows, it's normal. There is always condensation on windows in winter time.

If you see fog or water in between the two layers of glasses on your windows, it means your glasses are no longer air tight, then you probably need to have your glasses replaced. Hope this is not the case for you.

Thanks, I end up buying a Heater. More energy consumption.

车库上面那间吧，都这样。没办法，除非额外加加热管道。

这里的房子上下层之间是不隔热的，车库温度低就连累了上面的房间。
买新房倒是可以升级要求额外加隔热板和铺底层导热管。

这是不对的，我有个同事家的房子是盖房子的给忘加了，后来愣是取了车库顶的drywall补放的隔热层。

那是因为该Builder的建筑基准比较高，一般而言，用户不特殊要求，标准配置里是没有这个的
