That's right. The CTO is a friend of mine. He still got some customers by momentum, so he doesn't give up yet. I am one of his distributors and contract tech support.

It might be easier for SOHO user if you sell a package including pre-configured hardware, yet, the price might not be attractive that way. A hardware router is rather cheap now days.

Regular users not into computers will be scared away just by linux installation, IMHO.

Agree. Linux's market nich is not clear, I think, which is the reason that makes it a broken bubble in the stock market.
