可以拒绝 Sympatico 吗

那个破modem,你管它呢?给他们bell打个电话,跟他们说不要。他们可能会再次作你的工作,给你free的时间。让你再用他们的产品,但是只要你坚定,完全可以cancel这个服务的。这时候他们说会给你send a kit.让你return modem给他们,但是加拿大人也比较懒。谁知道kit啥时候过来啊?你就等吧!我都等了半年多了,kit还没有来。modem还在我家里。我也没时间再给她们打电话,还modem.他们都不想要,你着什么急?前两天,bell又来电话来促销。我想,1月底我的rogers也到期了。bell这时候说,用他们的。我说行啊!他们又说1月底会给我邮寄modem的!嗬嗬!这就是加拿大......以后我就卖modem
 
Your story is the same as mine. I guess you account will be cancelled by the agent someday and will receive the bill! You have to go to the post office to mail it even you didnot use their service.

Because these agents know your address & your name , they can cancell your account then they may have a new customer again.

我遭遇类似的情况。先是sympatico一个讲中文的销售人员打电话到我家,推销每月$24.99的宽带服务,我的答复是至少要结束和rogers的合同后才考虑sympatico。结果一星期后就收到sympatico的modern包裹,打电话到客户服务部被告知,如果不想现在开通的话,可以冻结账户半年,半年内随时可以开通。由于以前没有用过sympatico,再加上它提供的价钱好象也不差,我就答应先保留modern半年。不过,看了朋友们上述的故事,我也开始担心,到时候会不会也惹一身麻烦:( sympatico 是有些crazy!
 
跟他们用 Fax 和 email 联系。保存好底单。告诉他们必须在多少天内取走 Modem, 否则你要扔到垃圾桶里或者要收保管费,每天多少钱。至于账单,发完 cancel 传真就不再理他了。

嗯,类似类似,还有BELL的Bundle和Long Distance,我只用Bell的一项服务,却被莫名其妙的加了Bundle,不知道他们的脑子是怎么转的。

我没有用Bell的Long Distance,却被莫名其妙收$5/月长途费。从8月份开始打电话取消,每次都给我Credit,可到了12月份,账单上还有这两项,不知道他们想干嘛。

感觉就是粘上了,想甩都甩不掉,直到被烦死为止!
 
感觉的确Bell很缠人,不知Rogers怎么样。我用过他们的TVCable,没有什么麻烦。对它的HighSpeed各位有什么经验吗?

after i cancelled the servive,i kept the modem for 6 month, they to charged me for $180,i returned the modem,then they gave me $180 back.
You returned it by yourself or by return kit?
 
我用rogers4年了,手机上网都是他家的,还可以。
可能也会有些小麻烦,比如账单之类的,不过从没有说需要取消服务的时候不给取消的。

They told me they can freeze my account for half a year, but after 3 months , I received the bill suddenly ,then I called them and was told my account was cancelled so I need to return the modem. I asked them who cancelled my account, they said it's me! It is evident somebody used my name to cancell my account!
