University of Victoria allows international students to participate in their co-op programs. UVic has the second largest co-op program in Canada after UWaterloo.
Before you can eligible for a co-op job, you will need to have the work permit or "Work Authrorization" issued by Citizenship & Immigration of Canada. To get this work permit, you need to request your shcool's co-op office to issue a letter that explaning the co-op work term is part of the program study or something similar. Fill out the application form for Work Authorization and mail the form along with the letter from coop office, plus the application fee. The whole application takes about a month.
