Sure, Lac Brome Ducks in Quebec. My parents used to buy duck eggs at $10 for 50 eggs, but I'm not sure it's still available.

BTW, the origin of Lac Brome ducks is Beijing. The Peking ducks were imported from China to the United States in 1873.
 
盐水浸泡法:

1, 容器洗净, 晾干.
2, 量一定量的水(根据自己的容器大小而定)放入锅里,加八角,花椒, 用中火煮, 边煮边加盐, 直到饱和,煮开后放凉,倒入事先准备好的容器里, 待用.
2, 鸡蛋或鸭蛋用清水洗净, 晾干.
3, 蛋在烈酒里浸一下,放入盛有盐水的容器里.
一个月后就有咸蛋吃了.
 
我也想买鸭蛋, 有买到的了, 别忘了上来说一声!

好像不便宜,可能是销量不好的缘故吧
销售不好应该便宜才是,可能是因为太好吃的原因吧。:D

not many canadians knows how to cook duck well.
so not many of them buy it.
thus the supermarket can't stock too many of them.
since they can't stock too many, they do not do a mass purchace from their supplier. The supplier thus won't give them discount. Hence the price would not be low.

销售不好应该便宜only happens when the supermarket overestimated how much the consumers need, and had gone ahead purchaced mass amount of one thing. Then they found out it is not selling, they are forced to lower the price to get at least some money back before the food expires.

in case of duck, they know not many people want to buy. But if they do not stock one or two every week, they may loose a few customers.
