Position: Technical Consultant (Job #1934)

Position Type: Contract 6 Months

Location: Toronto

We are looking for a senior Technical Consultant that is skilled in both system programming and application developing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for full life-cycle development of Java applications and their installation and configuration on a Sun Solaris Unix environment.

Must Have:

- Unix (Solaris 8-9), Sun boxes

- Experience configuring databases (Oracle, Sybase, MQ Series)

- Must have extensive experience with Java, including development, configuring, and installing Java applications and tools

- Strong application implementation/rollout skills, has to capable to foreseen and plan all the prerequisites of the implementation/rollout process.

- Needs to be self sufficient, good communication and problem determination skills.
