国内英语硕士毕业,怎样申请到这里硕士或博士?

国内有一亲戚,是北外英语硕士毕业,想在加拿大上个非英语专业,例如经济或管理类的硕士或博士,请大家帮忙说一下,怎样才能过来?是通过考试还是直接接受?

I believe your relative can only apply for bachelor degree.

What do you mean by "直接接受?" I would think that he or she most likely will need to at least take some kind of exam, e.g., GMAT or GRE, to enter a graduate program.

Major in English of Master equals Nothing in Canada where English is national language, but he/she can apply for Master degree of Education here to be a teacher in the future in ESL class.

偶当时在新东方上GRE班的时候，同寝室有个东北师范外语系的，当时她问老师，说只能申请什么－－亚洲研究，和教育。

再补充一下，后来听说此mm找了个移民直接来了，后来发现上当了，后悔了，然后就回去了。

I am sure your relative can make this, two of my friends whose major are English did their Masters of Education in Ottawa University. Honestly speaking, it is not easy to find a job using that degree right now unless his/her English is perfect.

agree. A master of education cannot teach in public elementary or secondery schools, so the graduate may not be able to find a job after graduation.
