Hi,

Anyone ever hooked up service with London Telecom? Just got a flyer today saying their long-distance service within Canada, unlimited, $20/month.

Isn't this a wonderful deal or a trap?

Bell Canada offer $20 for 800 minutes per month within Canada.

Thanks Sean. But what if I needed to be the phone
with someone in another city 7 days a week, 2 hours
a day. That will be calculated to be 3600 minutes.

Who offers a deal that includes this kind of service?

I have been used the Longdon telecom unlimited within Canada from March till now. It is pretty good. The voice is clear, sometime you need redial one or two times. With a service charge and tax, the bill will be $24.44.

Two things I would like to mention. Their unlimited period does not include the long weekend Monday and you have to cancel the service in 60 days advance.

One more thing that you brought this up:

You can choose to pay by Checks in stead
of Credit Card. So you have nothing to
lose when you want to leave them as you
only paid for one month in advance.

So why you need the 60-day notice for
cancellation?

As a policy in the contract, they ask you to cancel in 60 days advance. I guess they will keep sending you the two invoices after you call for cancellation. They might sue you if you don't pay them. Coz I did not try, so don't know exactly the answer.
