Help: Appear in Court

I was driving my car on HWY401 west, when I was approaching county of Northumberland, I noticed that the traffic in front of me was getting slow, then I started to apply brakes. As soon as I hit the
brake, I realized that my car started to slip over to the right lane because of road slippery. (I was driving on the left lane). To avoid the collision, I steered my car to the left, then I lost control of my car because of road slippery again. My car hit the wall and the bumper got damaged. Luckily, no one was injured. But the ploice gave me a ticket "Careless driving" with fine $325. I want to fight in the court, any suggestion is highly appreciated.

unfortunately it was careless driving under the said conditions. You can still go to the court but slippery road is not going to get you excused.

楼主当然要搏一下。冬天车辆失控，是很平常的事，drive carefully 可以减少车辆失控的机会，但不可能杜绝，不能说车辆失控就是因为Careless driving，很大程度和路况车况有关。

Do not worry. Just go to the court explaining your situation to the judge.
Most of them are nice. You may not need to pay the ticket.

the bad thing is that you have to go to the court at Northumberland if the cop is from that place. I used to have a similar case at 416 close to 401. Since I have to go to Prescot to appeal, i give up.

如果你可以届时出庭的话, 值得一博. 路面状况造成的车祸, 不是你走神儿造成的.

但如果你本人到时候不能去, 就没办法了. 我听说这种上庭不可以请人代的.

Thank you all for your help! I decided that I have to fight since for careless driving, I am going to be fined 6 points, it's close to 15 point. I have a risk that my license will be suspended.

你是说你过去就被罚过点? 看来你开车要小心了。不知道上庭时，法官会不会问你以前的记录。

由于经费短缺的压力,安省的警察常常overcharge出事故的司机
我不知道现在是不是规则改了,应该是可以找XCopper或者pointts这样的告票公司帮你打公司的
庭辩的要点在于警方肯定会找一些证据证明你是careless driving,你要有充分的理由去反驳他们,证明你自己是曾经试图努力避免事故的发生的.

官司一定要打,因为careless driving是criminal conviction,如果被定这个罪名,来年你的保险将是现在的3倍以上.

police can't fine for loosing control, u'were probalbly speeding.

if you were not speeding, then you have a case to make in court.

I am not speeding, well, 110 km/h, if the road is not slippery, I am pretty sure the accident wouldn't happen.
