Help: Should I claim from the car insurance

My car was damaged in a single vehicle collision (only my car is involved), and it would cost me about $1,400 to repair it. The guy in the body shop said there may be hidden damage inside. My deductible is $500.00, should I call my insurance company and get them to pay for it? Any help is appreciated.

if you will stay in canada and own a car for three or more years, don't call insurance company,

Don't claim the insurance; even though they pay for it, they will raise your insurance premium becasue you are at fault and responsible for the casue of the accident. Your insurance premium will be high for the next several years, it will gradually come down if you keep no claim record over the years.

Agree, do not claim. If claim, you will pay back insurance company more later.

如果你那天出车祸把车撞报废了，或者伤了人，你就说不出这种话了！

Go to several body shops and say you want to pay the repair for yourself.

这种小车祸当然看不出保险有什么好处了，一旦你出了大车祸，就是保险给你兜着了。到那个时候，要是没保险制度，你就搭上你的房子吧。
