road assistance, how to do if the car is broken in the long trip?

What shall I do if my car is broken in the long trip such as tire blow, no gasline, key locked in car... on high way in long trip? I'm not CAA member, no cell phone, since CAA's cover is good for local, no much usefull for long trip. Has Anyone experience or suggestions?

Buy CAA Plus and a cell phone.

call your insurance co., they may have option, when you
get the program, they'll do all the above service
for free( and tow you car to nearest garage/not more
than 500 miles).
