[问题] 加元信用卡可不可以在美国购物

我在这边银行开的信用卡应该是加元的吧
那可不可以在美国的网站上使用这个信用卡，网站上说需要美元信用卡
有没有朋友有相关经历，谢谢！

在全世界接受信用卡的地方都可以! 信用卡公司给各国的商家付不同的货币, 而向你要清一色的加币(当天公布汇率再加约2.5%的手续费).
另外, 商家仅凭卡号是不知那个国家的银行发的吧!?

这个手续费的百分比会在你与银行的信用卡合约里写明. 信用卡推广申请表(背面的small print合约部分)上也有写的.

I just got a call from the web shop that my order was cancelled because I use a Canadian fund credit card. They said they only accept US fund credit card. They are Butterfly Photo.

My another order with J&R is fine, with Canadian card.

So some 美国的网站 does not accept 加元信用卡, that's true.

2.5%的手续费用不是一定的。不同的信用卡不一样。Visa有些是1.8%。普遍来说，Visa/Master Card都不是太黑。两家采用的汇率都是当天的中间价格。并非用卖出价格。
去年底到美国去，我的信用卡的综合汇率为1.216 CAD=1USD

幸好在我问的期间我又搜索了一下，发现ebay上比网站上的卖得更好，并且支持paypal付款。所以我还是去ebay买吧，免得麻烦，呵呵。

ebay/paypal will convert to canadian dollar for you instead of the credit card company.

I bought $61.35 US and paypal converted it to $77.85 canadian (=1.2689) two weeks ago.
Then last week I spent $76.80 us last week and Visa converted it to $96.26 (=1.2533).
Maybe there is not too much difference (exchange rate??).

When I bought US dollar at the bank last week. I only pay 1.2181 time.
