这个月不知道为什么，已经有四个朋友(WORK FOR 4 DIFFERENT COMPANIES)被裁掉了。而我自己的工作也极不稳定，随时都可能结束。每天去上班，心里总在唱一首老歌，记得是“蜗牛背着那重重的壳呀，一步一步地往上爬。。。”

我很想中国，想家里的爸爸妈妈，可是我喜欢这里，喜欢蓝天白云青草绿树。生活很累，可是会有美好。壳很重，可是我要坚持向上爬。

昨夜与你聊天，其实我很懂。希望你能更振作。工作感情都是暂时的事，患难更会见真情，你更能见到真爱，未必就是不好的。

中秋快到了，希望认识的和不认识的朋友们都开开心心过个节。

I don't know how they got the statics, if you went to any job fair, you will know ir-realistic to find a job at this time. But anyway, always thinking positively, once you lost everything, then you have nothing to lose.

Are there any job fairs around in Ottawa? I don't think so.

Look at Alcatel, Lucent, Nortel, Cisco, JDS, Celascar... today, you will see Innovation, Ceyba, Tropic... tommorrow. Stock back to 11 years ago, The unemployment will go back to 11 years ago as well. That time (1991-1994)~10% unemployment rate in Ottawa, and an ordinary people had no job for 3 years, even not for a labor job.

For me, if I could not find a job in half a year and the situation is still bad, I will move to another city, even another country.

Looks like "Labour工到处都是"now. But are you currently looking for the labor job? When you really look for job, it is different as apperance. Same as you check www.careerclick.com, www.monster.ca. There are millions of permenant positions there now, but how many offers are you getting?

俺还真知道一个人,两年没有工作,也没在上学,更没做labor,天天晃,毕竟Ottawa生活指数不是很高.

If he is single, then it may seems OK. But with a family, especially others who bought a house recently, life is tough. If you go to the labor work, the pay is low and the chance of getting another IT job is low too.
