全国DAYCARE计划的利弊[问题]

这两天社会舆论一直在讨论NATIONAL DAYCARE计划,看来政府下定决心要推行这个计划. 如果实施的话,
"推行类似QUBEC的$7/DAY, 政府给DAYCARE CENTER提供津贴."

好处?
1) 对夫妻双方都有工作或学习(UNIVERSITY)的家庭,可以使夫妻双方都有发展的机会.
2) 有能力工作的家庭成员重返工作,有收入,就会给政府多交税
3) 增加DAYCARE工作机会.

坏处?
1) 由于一些有经验的人重返工作,对新谋职的人不利(我知道很多本地人在家看小孩完全是个人原因,这些人如果重返工作的话,很容易找到工作)


个人认为,只要DAYCARE WORKER不搞政府公务员似的工会,则推行这个计划利大于弊.

想想现在这样一个有大专学历的人留在家里带一个孩子,效率太低了.为什么?给家里带来了经济利益(省了昂贵的DAYCARE费),却耽误了社会的消费,生产和发展.

总之鼓励生小孩是没错的. 儿童是祖国的花朵嘛.....

想想现在这样一个有大专学历的人留在家里带一个孩子,效率太低了.为什么?给家里带来了经济利益(省了昂贵的DAYCARE费),却耽误了社会的消费,生产和发展.

总之鼓励生小孩是没错的. 儿童是祖国的花朵嘛.....

Wrong, whether there are jobs out there is not because if there are people looking for jobs. In canada now, many people looking for jobs don't have jobs, then how did you get conlcusion that those parents can get job and increase GDP. On the other side, even they get jobs, they will have to work hard and pay more tax.

As for efficiency of taking care kids, don't think teaching kids is a easy job, and should only be the responsibility of those don't have post-graduate education.

As for saving on expensive daycare: remember you pay for that, not the government. We already has a univeral medical system which is going to bandrupt, now add this universal daycare, maybe you will be totally ripped off even before your kids grow up.

Yes, encourage people to have kids is the right thing to do. But you should give parents choices, you can subsidy the daycare and at the same time, give tax credit to those family who would choose to tay-in-home to take care of their owen kids.

It's just another universal medical system in Canada, which will never work, or accelerate this country to go bankrupt.

Remember everyone in this country have to pay for that. The more such programs the government sponsor, the more excuses the government will have to raise tax. And the more tax they collect, the more power they will have.

Who knows how those tax dollars will be spent. Don't you guys ever learn the lessons from Federal liberal scandal and Ontario liberal's medical premium.

Hey, you can't quantify everything in terms of materialistic gains. What about the love and care a child receives from his/her owm mother? Think from a child's point for a change.

This national daycare is actually penalizing those who made the sacrifice to stay with their children. Unless they are given a tax break, I don't think it's fair to those parents. At the very least, give the choice back to the people, let the parents decide whether to enroll their children in national daycare or stay at home to take care of their children.

The arrogance of the Liberal minister is sickening, like people are so dumb that they can't even make up their own mind.

I would actually go out on a limb to speculate that if given the option, the majority of mothers would love to stay home and raise their children until they reach kindergarten age.
