Hello everybody,

Conservatives are very interested in our group "Sponsor Your Parents". They would like to meet with all of us and discuss this critical situation with parental sponsorship and its delays.

The Conservative Party of Canada has booked Marky's Restaurant @ Wilson and Bathurst from 1 pm on Sunday February 20, to meet with our group. Refreshments will be served.

1. Information regarding meeting of group representatives with Mr.Harper.

2. Explaining to the attending members of the Conservative Party the issues that concern our organization, present facts, tell our stories and discuss our situation.

If you are going to attend, please send confirmation of your attendance to Luda at sponsoryourparents@rogers.com as soon as possible.

Please, include in e-mail your full name and number of people from you family who are going to attend the meeting.

Guys, please move to a different time your Sunday shopping and all other important things.

Opposition has real power to help us. If they see that parental sponsorship is not very important to us, the will not deal with us anymore.

You have a chance to speak up. And your voice will be heard!

I hope you understand who they are and what they stand for, this time they will use you as a gun, next time if and when they were in power, parental immigration will be totally shutdown.

I am curious, why you can't get any support from NDP ? Maybe they understand, bring more foreign older population into this country, will hurt their own core supporters the most, namely those old and poor who has been paying into the system for a long long time.

If we can make our voice to be heard by everybody, why we don't even try? At least, MPs and Parties are realizing that some voice are there and they must do something. With more and more petitions get into House of Common, MPs are really raising questions about our concern to the Minister of Immigration and Citizenship. Do you think it is worse than we just doing nothing at all?

Do you know currently how long our parents could get through the processing time. Let me tell you something, the number of parents who will be admitted in China is 100 in 2005, at meantime, there were 2000 application recieved by the Canadian embassy in BeiJing in 2004.

Do you really think Liberal is different that others?

Keep that in mind, we must help ourselves before anyone could help us.

That is reason why we take any chance to let people know about us.

Why we don't simply take actions for our rights, just like the Russian girl.

I think the main point is that how many more you need for the meeting, rather than how many more you need to share the car!
