我章中错字连篇，语法错乱，用词不当。
不过怎么说一是我用英文写的呀（在上课前20分钟内完成的作业）！
所以在这里和大家分享。
As computers becoming part of our life, computer games are more and more popular. Some people think the word “computer game” means something kids play, but I don’t think the same way. In fact, some computer games are quite complicated, that an average child under 12 won’t even learn the basic control of the game. Generally there are 3 kinds of games: RPG, 1st person (shooting) games, and strategy games (although games like Solitaire is computer game, but we will not talk about them this time).
RPG stands for Role Play Games, they have a story line, and you will act (play) as one of the characters in the story. There is different kind of ventures, you can go all around the world, or go back in time to the old ages, or even fast forward to the future. It’s a really fun kind of game; you can meet all kind of different people, do thing you might never be able to do it your life, be your super hero you always dream about. As an example in Role Play Game, Tomb Raider, you play as a female character Lara Croft to travel the world and steal the tomb. It was so popular that it had been made to a movie. Not only that, I found that RPG are quite educational. They allow you the review history, travel around the globe, and maybe open your own business. Everything in RPG is meant to look real. Now with 3D technology, they look so real, that you feel like you are really in the game.
Want to feel more like being in the game? Well then you will like 1st person shooting games. Because most games of this kind are shooting games, so we call them 1st person shooting games. But it doesn’t have to be a shooting game. Games that allow you to drive cars is also part of this family. Why do 1st person shooting games have this name? It’s because in the game, you cannot see you self, maybe an arm, but not the whole body. It’s just like looking from you own eyes. A representative game of 1st person shooting games would be Rainbow Six from Ubi-Soft. All the weapons in this game are what the U.S. army use these days. Also the game is made so real that if you were to get shot on the leg, the person would walk slower, and damage on your arm would make your hand shaky. Also, there is a mission set up before the actual game, where all the teammates with you will follow the plan that was been made. Most of the 1st people shooting games have a simpler story line than RPG, so it’s just pure fun. But these days’ people making games more and more complicated.
Speaking of complicated, that will bring us to the last kind of game, also the most complicated game, Strategy games. From the name we already what the game is mostly about. In this kind of game, you usually will have an army, which will follow all of your orders. You have to use awful a lot of brain cells to think of a great strategy to win. One of the year best strategy games is called Star-craft. In the game you can make land and air units to a maximum of 200 units. Different unit has different kind of skills; well using a small amount of units can win over a larger mass of units. It may not sounds complicated to you. That’s because unlike RPG and 1st person shooting games, most of the work must be done be brain, instead of busy on hands.
Well all the games have it’s own kind of fun, and advantages. Like RPG are really educational, 1st person shooting games look real and gives you a good time, and Strategy games exercise your brain. As computer games become more and more popular, more and more games have been put in stores. But the only way to really know them is to play them. Take a look by your-self to see if it’s just some kind of ――――
