请不要租Bell Street South的Apartment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

前几月给朋友租了个One Bedroom Apartment，在Bell Street South，房东是Dow's Lake Towers Ltd，租金725/M，后来朋友叫苦，原来签的lease有猫腻，Lease上这725是打折价，原价825，一年以后房东安825涨3%，法律上挑不出任何毛病。据说房东老板是香港人，对中国人都使这一招，望广为告知，不要再来上当受骗。

房价从725升到825再加3%（明年是2.9%，法律规定明年最大涨价2.9%）。

再提醒一下，这个公司有两栋apartment building，其一是360 Bell Street South，另一位于同一街上，在Bell Street South只有这两栋building。住那的中国人都知道这一情况，lease上都有两个价格。房东利用中国人别是新移民不懂行情进行欺骗，钻法律空子，实在可恨。

希望版主能将这贴置顶，以告并造福广大中国人特别是新移民。

It's an old dirty trick!!! Damn it!

Even the housing committe(?) couldnot do anything about it. It's all on your lease.

The good thing is, if the housing market is not as crazy as year 2000-2001, you can have the room to bargain with the management team there.

Believe it or not, it was up to 850 for a one-bed-room-apt in year 2001.
