All puppies must have 3 shots before he/she could be registered. One immediately after you bring the puppy home, usually between week 8 and week 10. 2nd shot is one month later, and 3rd shot is up to your vet to determine. I spent about $180 for Diego's first shot, including an initial head-to-toe exam and de-worming tablets.

Yes it's recommended to bring your pet for annual checkups, it usually costs about $50 per checkup.
