help: my computer freezes on me every time when I close an Explorer

HI,

something strange has happened to me and it's happened before. My computer runs on Win Xp home ed. Recently, it freezes almost every time when I closes a Resource Explorer Windows and last for about half minute then my desktop will refresh. I monitored the cpu uitilisation: it reached 85% or more when the Resource Explore closes. that had happened before on my previous computer, under Win 98. I suspected it was because one of my 2 harddrives was almost 90%. if not what happened? Virus?
最近我的电脑老是莫名其妙地在我关掉一个资源游览器之后挂机几十秒，然后真个屏幕重新刷新、重闪一次，一切就又恢复了。刷新时cpu使用率几乎达100%。大家估计是什么问题？我的一个硬盘几乎已满。

Explorer 是管理文件系统的. WINDOWS死机往往就因为这个资源管理器. 而文件系统又与硬盘内存有很大关系.
清理一下你的硬盘. 再看看硬件配置够不够:Ｐ２Ｐ３机器ＣＰＵ低于１Ｇ，内存少于２５６Ｍ，运行ＸＰ还是很慢的．　方便的话重新安装操作系统．

谢谢啦。你的建议和我做的一样。看样子你是懂行的。。。。

一直想defrag,只不过苦于可用硬盘不够15%无法做，又不敢删除硬盘上的文件（虽然已经备份到dvd上了）。后来通过把部分文件拉另一个硬盘上，defrag以后再拉回来，一切就正常了。我说我也不会中毒的，又有防毒、又有火墙，又从不忘这台机器上下载东西。
