To all the students, All the university community is invited at a public assembly organized on the initiative of some professors of the UQO. The topic approached will relate to the social strike coed and stakes which it raises. Certain members of the teaching staff consider that it is time to publicly discuss social strike and questions which surround the current conflict. The professors of the University are touched with the first head by the strike of their students: professors and students form a intellectual and social community: university community. You are thus invited Thursday March 31 with the auditorium of the Brault House of 9h with 11h in order to hold to with it a public discussion to which the members of the teaching staff and the students are invited. The most known claim is that of the compression of 103 million and it remains significant. However, this strike raises major and more fundamental stakes: - is education a public property or a product available on the market? - In which kind of company do we want to live, one where the money gives access to the instruction and the culture, or another where solidarity allows us best to live all together? - isn't education, like health, a major social policy contributing to the development of a country? - true richness of the companies doesn't it come from the quality of its citizens? - Which attitudes have to take the professors opposite the strike? This activity of reflexion around the current events is fundamental. With the pleasure you of seeing many, Age-uqo
