5 years visitor visa (B1/B2 mix) to US

Just got a 5 year multi B1/B2 to US. The other guy with me got a 6 month's. ?!!!

I used to have a 10-year visa. It depends on a lot of odd things. For example, if you've visited the US before, it'll be easier for you to get another visa.
