Five people died in the big fire start from 1:40AM this morning from the building Somersite@booth.


the victums are of one family and come from Combodia and right now, Somersite is closed from Brason through Rochester.

OTTAWA -- A mother, her daughter and three sons perished in an overnight fire in Ottawa's Chinatown district.

They lived in an apartment above a grocery store.

Two men and an infant were injured in the fire and are listed in critical condition in hospital.

All were members of Ottawa's tiny Cambodian community.

Firefighters were nearby mopping up from another blaze when the fire erupted just before 2 a.m.

Fire officials say it is too early to pinpoint the cause of the fire.

Ottawa police say in a statement the arson squad will investigate the blaze.

上个星期还去过那家店，现在还能记起女店主和一个年轻男店员的样子。刚才看了一下在火场附近的临时灵堂，两个人似乎都在里面。很多人围在那里祭奠。两小时内中国城两处HOUSE起火，消防队近在咫尺（距第一处火场仅几十米远）竟然也没能避免伤亡~~~~。另外大火导致PRESTON ST的一部分BLACK OUT。
