if you don't have a thesis, you can still apply for ph.d
but the offer will be conditional. typical requirement is
you have to publish some paper in your first year.

depends on ur boss
if ur boss says ok,then no condition at all

taking more courses are defnitely better for non-research jobs.
you can select some "useful" courses to take. Anyway, master is
just a mid-level degree, thesis is not important.

if u wanna do research and u do like do research then go for masters and then phd
if just wanna a job, the best way is proving ur english

什么意思，是说读出来找不到工作不合算，还是很难毕业？
反正在这边有个学历总比国内的学历强的说
