I drive between Ottawa-Montreal-New York every 2 or 3 weeks.
Usually, I will go from New York (Ossining, NY)->Montreal->Ottawa on Friday.
And Ottawa->Montreal->New York on Sunday.

(1). In general, I will stop at Ossining, NY, which is only 30 miles away from New York city (Manhattan). I take you to the train station, then you can buy ticket (6-7 dollars) to New York City (central station).
(2). Please contact me and share the car pool if you drive between US (NY) and Montreal or Ottawa .
(3). It's solely your resposibililty to be able to cross US-Canada.
