I have two questions for the experienced immigrants! Thank you very much for the help in advance!

1) I did my medical check on January 24, 2005 and was asked to pay for the landing fee at the same time; and I haven't got any further information since then. Is it normal?
2) I also got my work permit recently, should I mail it to Buffalo in order to increase my creditablility.

I have contacted CIC ottawa center and Buffalo over 4 times in the last two months; however, I have not got a clear anwer. I wish any skilled worker immigrations with similar experience could give me a hand! Thousands of thanks!

Yes, it is normal to wait a 3 or 4 months after medical check-ups. To answer your second question, I would recommend you to supplment your work-permit. But you might want to ask for more opinions. Good luck.

By the way, have you ever heard about the change of immigration process? I was told by a CIC agent that they actually ask the applicants to do the medical check before they start to access their cases. This is something confused me badly!

It is unnecessary to mail your work permit to buffalo because CIC's has your file in computer, and information is shared.

Waiting time after body check up can be as long as 10 months. Your body check up result is good for one year.
