Yao Ming shot 93 percent from the field and scored a playoff career-high 33 points, but it was Tracy McGrady’s jump shot with 2.2 seconds to go that finally felled the Mavericks in Houston’s 113-111 Game 2 win on Monday. McGrady finished with 28 points, including 16 in the second half, to go with 10 assists and eight rebounds. Jon Barry and Bob Sura combined for 30 points, making eight 3-pointers. The Rockets bring their two-game series lead home for Game 3 on Thursday (8:30 p.m., TNT).
