any good information for newcomers to share?

<HTML>Hi, I am just wondering if everyone can offer useful information to newcomers to Ottawa. It is pretty hard for newcomers to get all information steps by steps. I have some questions here:

1. What is the best way for newcomers to find an apartment fast and convenient? Can anyone provide this kind of services?

2. What is the main public community for chinese? Is there any place alike Scarborough in Toronto that chinese find chinese food easily and shopping alike at home.

3. What kind of activities that newcomers can participate easily and meet some friends.

4. Is there any place to provide information service for newcomers.

5. Why is it so hard to live in Ottawa other than in Toronto. What should new comers first take care of ? Is there any place that the newcomers can go for asking for help and not feel lonely and hopefulless.

If anyone has time, maybe he can give a hand to newcomers by providing information regularly here.

Sorry if it takes too long for you to read, but I thought i might good for more and more newcomers moving to ottawa. They need your help and generosities. I hate see chinese people feel bad when they arrive in Ottawa, they never feel so bad if they move to Toronto.

找有关渥太华房屋的新闻组
2。这里好象没有华人社区
3。去英语培训班，或者到大学去计算机系，90%都是华人了
4。感到孤独就常来这里坐坐吧，这里的主人挺好客的</HTML>

<HTML>i think to find an apartment is not so easy as what you said. It is not so easier for newcomers to read the newcomers to find an suitable apartment easily. Many chinese suffer bad experience to find an apartment by looking for the newspapers. Some of the landlord piss off our chinese people so much. I know chinese people get accustomed to all these kind of difficulty, but every newcomer suffer the same difficulty again and again. Should all these difficulty be avoid again and again.
