请教有上庭经验的朋友

我闯stop sign， 要上法庭。想请有类似的经验的朋友指点指点应该怎么应付。如果有什么好的借口就更好啦。谢谢！

Crown prosecutor would start by describing the circumstances around the incident, he/she might also call on the police officer who ticketed you as witness. You then would have your chance to tell your case to the judge. If you have witness in your favor you could call on the witness as well. You would also get a chance to cross-examine the crown's witness.

If you lose your case, you could bargain down the penalty in court or ask to pay the penalty using a payment schedule.

try to find some excuses for yourself and hopefully the court will reduce the penalty. Fail to stop at the stop sign is very hard to dispute though.

你如果出庭自辩，是Under Oath 的， 在这里我不好教你提出假证供，以免有唆摆之嫌，

但想想看.. ...

1. 你是否?加不久╋未?惯此地的交通标丈?

2. 原居地无此交通条例.

3. 当时天气状况影响视野： 大雪， 大募，大风沙，风雨交加，地震，火山爆发。海啸...

4. 当时在你前边是否另有一辆由白人驾驶的汽车亦没有停车呢？ 警察好象没有告他,

5. 你当时正在家中上CFC网，有帖子时间证明Alibi 没可能同时驾车和上网.

6. 心情不爽，因与上级/下属/老婆/老公吵了一场.

7. 你后边是不是刚有救护车/消防车 或总理Paul Martin 出巡车队鸣号，而你需要驶过该Stop sign 才能?路？


如果上述情况都不发生在你身上， 那再看清楚告票有否写错你的名字，车辆号码，日期，时间和地点等，如有一点错误，法庭会判利益归于被告的.

还有一点，请问阁下经常多在那一区驾驶呢？ 我要尽量避免到该处溜挞或过马路.

How did the police find you not stopping at the stop sign? What is the evidence?
