I have some extra money, and don't know how to do with it. :blowzy: The money has to be fixed for at least one year. Can I invest it in GIC or mutual funds or saving account? Please give me some suggestions. Thanks.

I am going to withdraw all the money and cancell the account most likely.

如果是一定要定时拿出来的最好还是GiC
savings一般没有GIC利息高
mutual fund有起伏,定时拿出来未必好
如果是美元,还有term deposit可能也不错
去银行问最好,利息多少一看就知道

一年的时间从稳健的角度看是不适合做MUTUAL FUND的。如果不希望承担风险，就考虑GIC吧。如果你一年中也可能用到钱，可以考虑MONEY MASTER或者CASHABLE GIC。但是要看你钱数量的多少了。
