移民面试能不能改地点？

老婆在国内，能不能改在北京？如果在北京的话，是不是等的时间就比较长了？面试在米国，现在面试的具体时间还没通知我。麻烦有经验的朋友给点建议。

This resulted from the very moment you decided to apply for your wife's immigration to Canada. As she is in China, why you did not submitted the application to the Embassy in Beijing because it could be faster to apply in the States. But you didn't think of what if an interview is requested.

Now an interview is requested. Yes, you can asked them to transfer her file to Beijing for processing at this point. But it could take even longer than you first thought.

My suggestion is that if she can come to the US, it would be better for you guys do it there.
