I assume you are looking to buy a second hand car in Quebec, but driving in Ontario?
The process is pretty much the same as in Ontario, you inspect the car, negotiate the price, have VIN checked (VIN is vehicle's ID, so every car in the world has its own VIN), have safatety passed then register the car. Now, if you are registering the car in Ontario, I believe you'll have to add emmission test as well.
