Generally a good car, but always come with little minor problems. If you know about car, then it is a good selection. The powertrain is nice and powerful, 140hp, 150lb/ft of torque, 2.2liter ECOTEC inline 4 cylinder, no need to worry about timing belt( actually there is no timing belt). I would say, for such cheap cars, there's no way to expect too much about the reliability, because they are cheap. you can probably get 2000 Cavalier for $7000 or even lower
