An alternative photography art

[Xterra]

As I am learning the digital darkroom techinics, I was able to discover the hidden power of the darkroom. I found that photos can be displayed in a whole new way. In contrast to the classic way (make the photo as close it seen as possible), this alternative brings in "mood" into photos instead of concentrating on the restoration side.

Let me start this post. Let's see how far this will go. :-D

# 1 (Life Path)

#1 original photo. Ok, the photo is not great. It was taken with my little S400. But it serves the purpose.

# 2 (impression of Binbin)

I created this photo to remember a girl I met in Vancouver a month ago. She was beautiful and elegant. I could hardly resist her charm, and decided to pursue her. Saddly, she turned away... But she has been in my heart ever since. The image of her has been fadding... I just remember she was wearing a yellow t-shirt that day we tripped together. That was the bright yellow t-shirt that made her even more attractive.

I have post this photo in another post. Just brought over to show you... not the story, but a photo with "mood".

#3 (silent sea)

This photo was taken in PEI last year. I was there two days. never stopped raining. It was around 5 PM, I was walking along a mile long beach. I turnned around, did not find anyone on the beach, the wind was salty and chilly. The sea was quiet...

好主意 事实上以前给夜景加过星星，假冒星光镜哈，正经的腰里揣个死耗子――冒充打猎的

I like the first change. You could remove those birds, both in sky and above the river, so your photo will be clean, and not as distractive as it is. also the rock at right bottom corner is a bit distracting. Otherwise, it is easier for viewers to focus on the two buildings and their surrounding. Don't you think? Just my opinion.

很好的建议！这张的原片没怎末细改，昨天也粗粗改了一下大小就放上来了。左边天上的不是鸟，是近处的蚊子
