[请求] English Ivy - How and where to palnt it

上个周末去 Glebe 的一个同事家 BBQ, 几十年的老房子，墙上爬满了 Ivy, 那感觉，仿佛又回到了。。。

。。。

转天就去苗圃买了几棵 English Ivy 回来。。。然后才发现不知道该种哪？有砖墙的那面是肯定种不了，种后院往fence上爬觉得可惜了，不知道种在侧面往 vinyl的siding 上爬成不成？毁不毁siding?

Vinyl siding大概是最不怕植物覆盖的了。木板的siding最怕。

别让它爬到房檐，那里要保持通风，另外枝叉要是从通气口钻进房顶更了不得。

当然最好还是别让植物爬到vinyl siding上面，免得把它扯坏。另外，你那地下室的水管修好了吗？

Thanks for asking...actually I just want to ask you neh

The service guys came to our house...somehow they didinot want to let the pipe go from the other side of the furnace..instead, they will totally ignore that "di lou", re-locate the pipe to the back of the furnace and link it to my sink on the other side of the washer..to do this, they also need to install a pump...they priced it, costs about $250, and will come back at the end of the month...of course, I would not pay the bill it's all builder's fault

sounds to me that's a decent fix, right?

Viginia Ivy is said to be a very fast growing vine.

there are quite a few selections, like Boston Ivy , Viginia Ivy etc...but I just like English Ivy
