Ghosts, Graveyards, Hangings and Haunts
Haunted Walks Inc. was founded in 1995, and offers a variety of unique historical walking tours in both Kingston and Ottawa, Ontario. We are best known for our tours of local ghost stories and ‘darker’ history which are presented in the evening, when the lights are low and the atmosphere is just right for a good ghost story. You may recognize our Tour Guides who wear cloaks and carry a lantern as they lead their group from one haunted spot to the next. In Ottawa you may also join us for one or more of our historical tours including the ‘Crime & Punishment Old Jail Tour’, ‘Secrets of the Château’ ? a guided tour of Fairmont Château Laurier, or the ‘Naughty Ottawa Pub Walk’ through the Byward Market.

Our new summer schedule starts Friday, May 6th, 2005!

Our walking tours present the city the way it was meant to be seen ? up close and on foot. None of our stories are exaggerated and several years of research have gone into each tour. Our tours and stories are second to none!

Now entering our 9th season, The Haunted Walk is Ottawa's most popular walking tour company. Locals and newcomers alike are fascinated by these glimpses into the darker history and haunting of the Nation’s Capital. All of our stories are thoroughly researched and will delight even the skeptics in the group! Join us for one or all of our different tours, offered in the daytime and in the evening by lantern-light. The Haunted Walk is a member in good standing with the Ottawa Tourism and Convention Authority.
